SPRING... ALMOST

Driving around town I've noticed the sweetest yellow spring flowers popping up EVERYWHERE. After years of us begging the rain to come down on California, this year it finally happened, and Mother Nature was not playing. We've welcomed the rain here with open arms, flooding and all. I'm not even going to complain about the mud I got all over my boots and jeans getting these shots.

Our first stop we parked on a dirt road and walked out into a beautiful field, the light at JUST the right spot. My model hit that first pose, I bring my camera up, take that shot, "YES! Perfect!" I look at the back of my camera... AND... "No SD Card". Oh. My. Josh. Needless to say I was disappointed. But then I remembered, I had my film camera on me! Now don't hold your breath, I haven't developed those photos yet but I am so excited for them.

We drove back into town to get my SD card then headed to this grove of almond trees. The trees weren't bloomed quite yet but we were losing light so we went for it. These were the shots from the almond tree grove and I am stunned! My models first time shooting and she is a natural! Can't wait to develop my film but for now here are the digital shots.
